Eyepatch Asuka is best Asuka. I like how you drew her with perhaps a negative number on the "Evangelion Angstomometer". The movie will probably play it for some drama, but I like the idea of an Asuka who's so sure of herself not even a missing eye can slow her down.

The drawing is really good too. I like your style. Keep up the good work.

Actually, in a lot of the original art by the character designer (Yoshiyuki Sadamoto), Asuka is more of a blonde or strawberry blonde. It wasn't until the anime came out that she was reimagined (and NOT by the original character design crew) as a redhead. Sort of the same way she was redesigned to have a bust that even most full-grown women, let alone a thirteen year old (I've gotten a lot of grief for this, but if you do the math she's not fourteen until the end of the series...not that it really matters much in this case) would envy. So this is actually far closer to the creators' original vision than you might imagine (Asuka looks good as a redhead, but I've also seen variations where she was portrayed as a brunette, and it's always nice to see someone go back to her blonde/strawberry blonde/dirty blonde roots...no pun intended).
